My family has called Anniston home since 1995. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness and opportunities that Calhoun County offered. We loved the area instantly with it’s convenience to Logan Martin, Birmingham, Atlanta, Huntsville, Little River and of course, Cheaha Mountain. The Chamber of Commerce once had a saying that said it all. It went something like this: “Near Atlanta. Near Birmingham. Near Perfect.” After 27 years and tons of changes, we still think it is! We moved here from St. Clair County, where I grew up most of my life. My father was a dentist there for many years. I graduated from a pilot program for Dental Laboratory Technicians sponsored by UAB School of Dentistry and the VA in 1975. Upon graduation, I worked as a Certified Dental Lab Tech and office manager for my father for 27 years. When my Dad retired, I searched for a profession that would not only allow me to be in a similar position of helping people but would also allow me to be involved in the community and our children’s activities. A career in Real Estate would allow me to do that and in 2004, I obtained my license to practice following my husband who obtained his license in 2002. Real Estate has changed. The way we treat people shouldn’t. If I can make a difference in just 1 person’s life each day, I can say that I have accomplished what the Good Lord has asked me to do. This is my motto in life and I am here to make a difference in yours. Whether you are buying, selling or contemplating, I will be here for you. I make friends and family members…..not clients.
